TKP Lubricants Nutri Gear family (ISO VG 100 and ISO VG 220) is a synthetic is a synthetic gear oil produced from PAO (Poly-alpha-olefines) base oil and multiple function additives, that can be used in lubricants of drive gears operated in the food processing industry. Compared with conventional mineral oil gear oils, its range of application temperatures is wider and its oxidation stability is better. This product can be used as food-grade lubricant in the direct and indirect environment of food processing, where there is a possibility of incidental food contact.

It is recommended to wash out the system before the first filling, or to reduce the period of first oil change after filling in order to make sure that the outstanding lubricating ability of the liquid is retained, and that its non-toxic characteristics are ensured.

This is particularly important if the system operated previously with a conventional (mineral oil based) lubricant.
